I am to add that this matter is
one of some urgency and that considerable
importance is attached to it by the Govt.
of Hong Kong. At present certain con-
signments of silver articles are held up by the
Customs authorities pending a decision as to
whether they can be placed on sale,
and Mr.
Thomas trusts that some means can be found
of surmounting the difficulty which has
been raised.
